It's party Time

For our Halloween breakfast we had a
bagel with cream cheese,
"Smiley Apples" and milk

We had a spooky lunch!
A "Dead Man's Finger", Ants on a log,
"Caldron" of ranch for our bony carrots.
and "Spidey Balls"

Some of our "Spooky Halloween Friends"
 "Bergen the Lady Pirate"
 Caroline "Spider Girl"
Kalel as the Black Spider Man
 Rayne "Spider Man"

Bergen, Kalel, Rayne, Phillip, Ethan & Ansaly
Ansaly came as an adorable pumpkin.
She wanted to wear the witch hat too!

We made special "Green Halloween Play Dough"

 We used pumpkin cookie cutters
 The Pumpkin Face Race
I cut out pumpkins, eyes, noses and mouths.
I put the pumpkins on the wall.
Each child would draw pumpkin face parts
from a hat and put them on their pumpkin.
The first child finished wins a prize.
But in preschool everyone wins a prize.

We played musical chairs, but used wash cloths.

It was a fun morning.
We have a few more games to
follow this afternoon.

Thanks Stacy for the
Cupcakes!

The name game

We played a new game today.
I cut out the letters of everyone's name
and glued them to a piece of card stock.
I cut out a second set of letters
and laminated them.
We put them in a bowl.  The kids rolled
a die.  They counted the dots and then picked a letter
to match their name.

Caroline has more letters in her name than
the others.  So when everyone gets down to
the last letter they have to draw a three
to be able to pick a letter.
They had fun and they practiced counting
and recognizing the letters of their name.

Hand print ghosts

I had to add this one it was so cute!

The kids used stickers to to put
their name on their ghost picture.

Ansaly did her pumpkin picture today
